And The Winner Is…

The U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, a nonprofit members organization with member headquarters in Springfield New Jersey will be announcing the winner of its Great Video Making Contest on January 31, 2012. The contest winner will be taking home $1000 in cash or prizes.

The video making contest is open to all U.S. Federation members and ends on January 31, 2012.

Interested members can still enter the video making contest by texting  PRIZE to 69302 and submitting their video in accordance with contest rules before the deadline.

Contestants were charged to convert a concept video script into a 30-60 second public service styled video emphasizing aspects of the value system that are inherent in the Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan martial art system and which are embraced and reinforced among all students training with Certified Instructors and studios nationwide.

The 2011 Board of Directors of the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation also emphasized another important organizational value in August of 2011 when they approved the U.S. Military Membership Program which sponsors free membership in the U.S. Federation for all U.S. military personnel and their household members.

The 501c4 Board of Directors also voted in its January 12th, 2012 Board meeting to proactively work closely with its fellow 501c3 Board of Directors in 2012 to increase the resources available to pursue 501c4 Chartered purposes, support its Share The Art (START) initiative and other member programs and accomplish 501c3 mission objectives.

H.C. Hwang, President of the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation recapped highlights of some 2011 events and accomplishments of these and other International organizations in his 2012 New Year Greeting and clearly, based on the values expressed by these organizations, their members and supporters and the actions they are taking, the winner in any of these organizations’ members’ initiatives will be the public at large and our society.
